Forthcoming Events
Coffee Morning - Saturday 21st January at the Tourist Information Centre
Our next coffee morning is to be held on Saturday 21st January at the Tourist Information Centre in Caerphilly town centre (opposite the castle). Enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee whilst finding out how our campaign to claim back the Miners as a community asset is progressing. Speak to committee members and volunteers who are helping to make the plan a reality. A presentation of the project will be held at 10.30am. We look forward to seeing you there!
Poems and Pints!
The Caerphilly Miners' Project is holding a 'Poems and Pints' event on Friday 2nd December. The event will be held at the Masonic Lodge, starting at 7pm, and a warm welcome is extended to all. Bring your favourite poem and buy a pint! The event will be a chance for project members to further engage with the local community, as well as getting us all in the Christmas spirit!
There will be a £5 entry fee, which will go towards much-needed funds for the Miners' Project.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Caerphilly Local History Society
The Caerphilly Local History Society has invited us to its annual History Open Day at the Twyn Community Centre. The event has run for two years and is well attended by local voluntary organisations and members of the public. The next event will be held on 24 April 2010 and we have accepted the Society's invitation to attend.
In addition to this the History Society has also written to the Management Committee lending its support to the work that we are undertaking. We hope we will be able to work with the Society in the near future.
